Scenario Description:

Beijing kaidexing Optoelectronic Information Technology Co., Ltd. launched the base station remote optical fiber expansion system, which provides a network construction scheme that can realize centralized placement of BBus and greatly reduce the demand for optical fiber.In the optical fiber expansion system, through the use of matching optical modules on BBU and RRU, service signals of different wavelengths are provided.The RRU is connected to the wavelength of the optical fiber container and the optical fiber carrier side respectively.The optical fiber expanders on both sides transmit signals of different wavelengths through one optical fiber on the line side, thus saving a lot of optical fiber resources.Optical fiber expansion system is a passive scheme with high reliability, small size and easy installation and use.

The optical fiber expansion system is suitable for the following scenarios:

1. The distance between BBU and RRU stations is more than 1km.

2.In the areas where optical fiber resources are scarce, there are no pipeline resources and new optical fibers can be laid unconditionally.

3.When the time limit is large, it can be used as an emergency plan to solve the optical fiber problem temporarily.

Cran Scene 1 (chain)

The BBU units are centrally deployed in the computer room, and 6 rrus are hung far below. The optical fiber expander is used. The outgoing optical fiber only needs 1 core to realize the wide coverage of RRU.

Cran Scene 2 (ring)

Optical fiber expander is used to form a single core ring, and BBU units are centrally deployed in the machine room, and nine rrus are hung far below. Dual ports are used between BBU and RRU to interconnect in East and west directions to ensure the stability of the link and realize deep coverage of RRU.
