The 5g forward transmission semi-active WDM system developed by Beijing kaidexing company is mainly used to solve the problem of lack of optical cable resources for optical fiber remote transmission between du-aau in c-ran architecture.

The scheme features active WDM on Du side and passive WDM on AAU side. The management and protection functions of forward bearer network are realized through the intervention of active equipment at the office. At the same time, the simple and low-cost characteristics of remote passive are taken into account, which is convenient for deployment and maintenance, and helps operators to deploy 5g forward transmission network with low cost, high bandwidth and fast deployment.

similar to passive WDM, network management monitoring and optical layer protection functions are added on the basis of keeping end-to-end passive and low-cost;

The device on the Du side is active, which can provide optical layer protection and automatic switching mechanism. Power failure of the device only affects the network management but not the service;

Modular structure, 1:6 / 12 / 18 / 24 ~ 40 optional, flexible configuration of various functional units.

Application scenario: it is suitable for areas with limited optical fiber resources or small-scale centralized deployment of Du; the remote system does not need power supply, and has the ability of outdoor deployment. Passive wave combiner and demultiplexer can be deployed together with AAU to solve single station business, or it can be deployed at optical intersection to gather multi station services;
