The 5G forward transmission passive WDM system developed and launched by Beijing kaidexing company is mainly used to solve the problem of lack of optical cable resources for optical fiber remote transmission between Du and AAU in c-ran architecture. By deploying passive WDM on Du and AAU side, and replacing the original white light module on wireless equipment with matching color optical module, the system can provide business optical signals of different wavelengths and passive WDM on both sidesThe service optical signals of different wavelengths are multiplexed on one core optical fiber for two-way transmission, instead of optical cable laying, providing a low-cost and high-performance optical fiber expansion solution for operators.

Features of the scheme:

The color light module is used in AAU and Du side for wavelength multiplexing / demultiplexing through passive WDM to realize the connection between AAU and Du corresponding wavelength;

6/12/18/24/48Wave optional, compared with optical fiber direct drive, significantly save optical fiber; similar to optical fiber direct drive, high bandwidth, low delay; the scheme is passive, simple to use and rapid deployment.

Application scenarios:

It mainly meets the requirements of end-to-point cran networking scenarios; the remote system does not need power supply, and has the ability of outdoor deployment. The passive wave combiner and demultiplexer can be deployed together with AAU to solve single station business, and can also be deployed at optical intersection to gather multi station services.
